Spectra Physics MG532C

Not my picture
These things are often pop up on eBay, presumably as EOL pulls out of photolithography equipment. The Newport brochure facetiously markets them as "based on Millennia technology"; however, they internally bear little relation to the Millennia - Millennia's are single-frequency ring lasers, these are simple V-fold YAG's.

They are pumped by a "J20", which is a couple of temperature controllers and a 20W FCBar inside a 2U rack unit.

You should probably avoid these, as there are easier ways to get 2W of green. I guess they are useful as an easily available single-spatial mode green laser, if all you desire is TEM00 operation without a long coherence length. If you want a Verdi-like laser, go get an actual Verdi (which is not that expensive on eBay any more!)
