A custom low-power (~1KW-class) BLDC controller firmware solution built around the motor controller inside a high-performance cordless chainsaw. A joint project with Peter Krogen.
Original Inspiration: I mounted a chainsaw on a scooter, and decided it was Not Terrible. Clearly the next step was to make it even less terrible by tracing out the controller circuit and reprogramming it.
